Tom-Dee

In Thailand,
Tom-dee couples walk hand in hand.

Tom: a girl so devoted to manhood
That she abstains from nakedness
So as not to unveil the reality
Of her chromosomal impotence.

Dee: a girl so castrated
That she becomes
A farce of a woman,
Pedestal poster-child,
Doted on, coddled,
But never able to requite
Her lover's touch.

One rejects her womanhood;
The other is consumed by it.
