Fibonacci's Lover

At
first,
the light
scrapes her breast,
lifting her tini-
est hairs to furtive attention.
Alert and straining, she swells towards brilliance, eager
and arched, girl-bridge over white linen ocean and the ship of his hand glides beneath her.
Scooped up, held out, now parted and matched, she clings to this
damp, breathless junction, left riven,
split, brimming over,
lips open,
gasping
the
light.
