Bubblegum in December

I’ll stream kisses into your mouth
Feed you my jilted butterflies,
So they’ll swarm your belly
And leave you shaking–
I want to shiver under your skin
Just as you quiver beneath mine.
You taste of bubblegum in December
And of smoke sweetened with dancing.
I’ll unlock the windows of my eyes,
And beckon you up into my bed–
The sheets are ready to receive your sweat, my love.
