Tomorrow is National Libraries Day in the UK. From their site:
National Libraries Day is devoted to all types of libraries, library users, staff and supporters across the UK. Join in by organising a celebratory event, contributing to our forums, tweeting with the #NLD12 hashtag and visiting your local library on the 4 February or the week leading up to it. How will you get involved?
Your mission
Here's what I want you to do.
Take a few minutes tomorrow and swing by your local library. Check out the events going on that day, apply for a library card if you don't have one, and check out a few books (or ebooks, DVDs, games -- modern libraries offer a huge variety of items!).
Before you leave, ask to speak to a librarian, and ask them if they would order a book to add to their collection. Most libraries accept requests from patrons.
Ask them to order Bone Fragments or Ventricle, Atrium (or both!).
They'll probably need the ISBNs, so here they are. You might want to write them down and take them with you:
Bone Fragments: 978-1926959092
Ventricle, Atrium: 978-1926959177
That's it!
Want my books for yourself?
Did you know that Bone Fragments and Ventricle, Atrium are available from Amazon.co.uk?
Both books are also available from WHSmith.
